Jackson may attempt to make amends for last year’s Vodacom Durban July flop after all.
Brett Crawford talked of giving the country’s greatest race a miss when reviewing the colt’s below par performance in the J & B Met, but seemingly he could change his mind.
He said: “We are going to go the weight-for-age route with Jackson in Durban and I would say that his first run will be in the Rising Sun Gold Challenge at Clairwood on June 8, but after that we will take it race by race.
“We have to consider the July and we will certainly nominate him for the race.”
