The 2nd Leg of the 2012 Avis Coach Charter International Jockeys’ Challenge on Sunday, November 18, originally scheduled for Greyville, will now take place at Clairwood Racecourse.
The turf over the recently constructed subway at the 300m marker at Greyville has been independently confirmed by Turf Specialists to have rooted well. However, in the absence of a much needed dry spell, the affected area is not 100% ready to ensure safe racing.
Shelton drainage is presently being installed and this will further assist in ensuring full recovery in line with Gold Circle’s racing safety specifications.
